By 2028, WSCA will be recognized as the premier professional organization for Washington's culinary community, providing unmatched education, certification, networking, and support that advances careers, celebrates culinary excellence, and strengthens the profession.
This strategic plan outlines four key priorities that will guide our efforts and investments over the next three years, ensuring we deliver exceptional value to our members while elevating the culinary profession across Washington State.
Our Strategic Priorities
Key Goals:
- •Increase ACF certification participation by 25%
- •Reimburse members up to $200 in certification fees
- •Offer 20+ continuing education opportunities annually
Key Goals:
- •Award 10+ scholarships annually (including $10K Student of Year)
- •Grow apprenticeship program enrollment
- •Expand WSCA Foundation to $50K+ annual fundraising
Key Goals:
- •Expand membership from 250+ to 300+ by 2027
- •Increase student member participation
- •Develop mentorship program pairing students with experienced chefs

- •Continue catering Governor's Inaugural Ball tradition
- •Host regional ACF conferences and competitions annually
- •Strengthen partnerships with food service suppliers and industry leaders
